- Hydroxylation: add -OH by cytochrome P450.
- Conjugation: add glucuronic acid.
- Glycogen degradation, gluconeogenesis: remove P from G-6-P.
- Lipolysis: remove fatty acid from TG.
- =Sarcoplasmic reticulum in muscle: storage and release Ca2+.
